A Message From Our Practice
Hello AllCare Family,
As we are quickly approaching the end of the year, our staff members are doing their best to accommodate everyone while trying to triage our most urgent and sick pets. Since we are a one doctor practice, we do not have the capacity to see emergency or drop off appointments. We know that your pets are such an important part of your families, so if we cannot get your pet seen in a timely fashion, we will often refer you to one of the local emergency hospitals.
We know that these are trying times, but please treat our staff with respect as they are trying to meet the needs of many sick pets.
Since we are currently experiencing a higher-than-normal call and patient volume, we are asking that you allow Dr. Grossbard a minimum of 72 business hours to get back to everyone which includes any record requests or lab call backs. Dr. Grossbard sees approximately 25 to 35 clients per day, which leaves an extremely limited amount of time for call backs and completing notes on a daily basis. At this time, Dr. Grossbard will not be able to address concerns regarding pets without an exam.
We are currently booked out a few weeks in advance. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call one the following emergency/specialty hospitals:
Animal Care & Emergency Services (ACES), 1333 9th Ave, San Francisco (415) 578-5405
SAGE Veterinary Centers, 934 Charter St, Redwood City (650) 417-7243
Lenity Vet Specialists, 257 N. Amphlett Blvd, San Mateo (650) 513-6660
We understand it may be frustrating getting care for your sick pets, but if you are interested, this link is to an article from “The Atlantic” explains how the Veterinary industry has been impacted and short-staffed since the pandemic began. It may shed some light and understanding for what we are currently experiencing.

We appreciate your understanding and support.
